Once you land at the airport.
Once you land at the airport, we will take you to the Hotel where you’ll enjoy some free time until your tour begins.
Please, check the informative posters placed at the hotel reception area which have all the informations about your upcoming services such as meeting place, time and the guide’s name.
In the morning, we’ll have a scenic tour of Rome, which will be a great introduction to “The Eternal city”.
We’ll discover the tiny state of the Vatican, the epicenter of Christianity in the world. Then visit St. Peter’s Basilica & the Roman Coliseum that is considered to be the symbol of Rome.
At the end of the evening, we’ll arrange a transfer to Trastevere area for a stroll in the narrow cobbled streets of the district filled with hidden treasures, medieval churches & small shops with the most peculiar of objects.
You’ll be able to enjoy many trattorias (informal Italian eating establishments) and osterias imbued with the Italian spirit ready to serve you local dishes. We’ll then head back to the Hotel.
You’ll be able to enjoy free time this day to explore the city on your own. Or you can relax & prepare for the next beautiful days.
New day new adventure! Today, we’ll be leaving Rome towards Florence; One of the most beautiful italian cities. We’ll be heading straight to the impressive Piazzale Michelangelo.
In the afternoon we take a tour with a local expert, walking through the historic center, visiting places such as the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo and Plaza della Signoria. You’ll come to the conclusion that this city is truly an outdoor museum.
In the evening, you will have time to enjoy diner in one of the many restaurants serving international cuisine.
Today, we’ll continue our journey towards Pisa. On a little tourist train, we will travel to the Piazza Dei
Miracoli (Square of Miracles), where there will be time to admire the well known Leaning Tower of Pisa.
After this, we head to the Ligurian Coast, known for being one of the prettiest coastlines in Europe. We will visit the Cinque Terre, that is declared UNESCO World Heritage Site. It comprises of five villages, almost isolated by road, which live on fishing and tourism.
Given the difficult access by road, we go by train to Vernazza (ticket included), with its outstanding Church of Santa Margarita built in 1318, overlooking the sea. Time to have a delicious lunch before traveling by train to Levanto, where we rejoin the guide to go to Genoa.
We will continue our journey to the nearby city of Santa Margarita Ligure, where we will embark for
Portofino, one of the most exclusive places in Europe.
We’ll enjoy a stroll by the sea and have some free time to explore the place. After lunch, we’ll continue our journey to Milan, the busy northern city in which we recommend a visit to the cathedral.
After having a delicious breakfast, our services will end.
